Dan decided on a dark stout but having had a few too many brews at the Brewery today; I opted to go with one of their amazing cocktails! The Finnieston was one of Glasgow’s first gin bars, so, of course, I had to sample one of their concoctions.

The restaurant was a beautiful blend of Glasgow’s iconic design. There were stained glass windows everywhere you looked along with various nautical elements that made for an incredible blending of artistic and a reflection on the Docklands where the seafood on offer had come from.

We sampled a little bit of everything from their menu. We tried their famous Cullen Skink soup (a thick Scottish soup made of smoked haddock, potatoes and onions), locally raised steak with shrimp and even finished the meal off with a few desserts….or two.

The post Locally-Sourced Seafood at the Finnieston, Glasgow first appeared on The Creative Adventurer.
