Hello, and welcome to The Creative Adventurer. I’m an avid traveller with a love for beautiful art, delicious food, fascinating history and anything that feels new and exciting. I thrive on finding not just hidden gems but also places that reflect the heart of the country I’m exploring and tell a unique story. I work as a graphic designer and photographer and love using those creative skills to build this community here on The Creative Adventurer.
Despite loving the city I live in (Toronto), my wanderlust drives me to keep exploring this big world of ours to discover unknown treasures and new experiences. I started ‘The Creative Adventurer’ in 2010. Back then, it was just something I wrote for myself, to document my travels to preserve those memories in amber forever. But as the site grew and grew, I wanted to help other travellers have more meaningful experiences. Understanding the history and cultural context behind the places you visit on your travels is essential to get more out of the experience. I hope this blog encourages you in this understanding and inspires your next adventures.
